The Manufacturing Process of our Light
We ensure every fixture meets the highest standards of performance and reliability through a meticulous, multi-stage production process.
1. R&D and Design (The Blueprint)
Circuit Design: Engineers design the electronic circuitry, including the main control board, power supply, and motor drivers.
Optical Design: Using specialized software, we simulate and design the optical path (lens tubes, reflectors) to maximize light output and minimize loss.
Mechanical Design: The housing, heat sinks, and mechanical components are designed for durability, efficient cooling, and precise movement. This is often done using 3D CAD software.
Software & Firmware: Our team develops the firmware that controls all functions, from DMX interpretation to motor control and thermal management.
2. SMT PCB Assembly (The "Brain" and "Nervous System")
Stencil Printing: A solder paste stencil is applied to the blank PCB.
Component Placement: Automated pick-and-place machines accurately position tiny surface-mount components (resistors, chips, capacitors) onto the board at high speed.
Reflow Soldering: The assembled PCB passes through a reflow oven, melting the solder paste to create permanent electrical connections.
This automated process ensures every circuit board is identical, reliable, and high-performing.
3. Housing and Mechanical Assembly (The "Body")
Casting & Machining: Housing parts are typically die-cast from aluminum alloy for strength and excellent heat dissipation. They are then machined to precise tolerances.
Sub-Assembly: Components like the lamp/LED module, lenses, prisms, gobos, and color wheels are carefully assembled into optical modules.
Main Assembly: Skilled technicians assemble the mechanical structure, installing the pan/tilt mechanics, motors, and optical modules into the housing.
4. Wiring and Final Assembly (Connecting Everything)
Internal Wiring: All components-control board, power supply, motors, fans, and light source-are connected with high-temperature, durable wiring.
Quality Checks: Wiring is inspected for correct routing and secure connections to prevent shorts or failures from vibration.
5. Aging Test ("Burn-In" - The Most Critical QC Step)
Every single unit is powered on and run at full capacity for a minimum of 6-8 hours.
Purpose: This stress test identifies early failures (infant mortality). It stabilizes the electronic components and ensures the thermal management system (fans, heat sinks) works correctly under load. We only ship units that pass this test flawlessly.
6. Optical and Functional Calibration
After aging, each light is calibrated.
Focus: Lenses and mirrors are aligned for a sharp, even beam.
Movement: Pan and tilt movements are calibrated for accuracy and smoothness.
DMX Control: All functions (colors, gobos, strobe, prisms) are tested via a DMX controller to ensure perfect response.
7. Final Inspection and Packaging
A final quality control check inspects for any cosmetic flaws or issues.
The unit is cleaned, packaged in custom foam inserts, and sealed in a sturdy shipping carton with all accessories (power cable, safety cable, manual).
FAQ (For Wholesalers & Engineers)
Q: What is the lamp lifespan and replacement cost?
A: Lamp life is ~1,500 hours. We supply OEM-approved lamps at competitive wholesale prices.
Q: How does the brightness compare to LED beams?
